Mindful Living Workshop: The Art of Designing a Yoga Space at Home

The roles of an interior designer and a yoga teacher have offered me a unique and holistic approach to well-being, creating spaces that not only look aesthetically pleasing but also contribute to a sense of peace, balance, and tranquility.

The "Mindful Living Workshop: The Art of Designing a Yoga Space at Home" is a 2-hour workshop that combines the principles of yoga philosophy with interior design to help participants create a serene and balanced yoga space in their homes. The workshop begins with a presentation on key yoga principles, such as equanimity and mindfulness, and explores how these principles can be translated into interior design. The workshop includes two 15-minute yoga flow sessions with different sensory themes – one calming and grounding, the other energizing and uplifting. The session concludes with a hands-on activity where participants create mood boards reflecting their personal interpretation of a yoga-inspired space, using images, textures, and colors to evoke tranquility and balance. Overall, the workshop aims to guide participants in intentionally designing a mindful and harmonious yoga space within their homes.
